Meet our Staff
Prior to going into private practice with PEN, Lois Prislovsky served as the Director of the Special Needs Program (SNP) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Prislovsky created and developed the SNP from its inception into a nationally respected program that comprehensively assisted student athletes with disabilities, allowing them to attain unprecedented academic and personal success. She served UTK’s student-athletes for over a decade beginning in 1994. Prislovsky has now organized dedicated colleagues and respected area professionals to create Psychoeducational Network, another comprehensive program designed to serve individuals with the highest standards of professionalism and personal attention. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, an M.S. in Psychology from the University of Memphis, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Prislovsky has completed over 128 hours of post-doctorate studies in assessment, cognitive psychology, Lindamood-Bell reading therapy and Ericksonian hypnosis. Prislovsky earned advanced certification in Ericksonian hypnosis and is dedicated to empowering individuals by helping them develop an understanding and appreciation of themselves and others and utilize their unique abilities to facilitate positive change. Other areas of expertise include communication and social skills training with clients on the Autistic spectrum and ADD/ADHD coaching. Lois Prislovsky

Francine Reynolds earned her B.A. at the University of Tennessee, her M.A. at East Tennessee State, and her Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Reynolds is licensed as a Psychologist with Health Service Provider status in the State of Tennessee. Her area of expertise is psychological assessment and diagnosis. Other areas of interest are working with adults adjusting to life changes and chronic illness. Dr. Reynolds is highly skilled in assessment with children ages 2 years through adolescence as well as adult populations. Dr. Reynolds’ interest in equine assisted approaches to learning/personal growth and therapy stems from her passion for horses and therapeutic expertise in cognitive behavioral modalities and experiential based learning. Kris Houser is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and by the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Houser earned his undergraduate degree at Murray State University in Kentucky and graduated from medical school and residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. Kris Houser, M.D. then completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the University of Louisville. Dr. Houser has a superior reputation for patient rapport and is highly knowledgeable concerning medication management and treatment. He is a team player and excellent communicator who works closely with the client and appropriate PEN professionals to provide top quality care. Kris Houser
